Doctor Strange: Jared Leto is rumored to play Stephan Strange. He recently took home an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in Dallas Buyers Club. The director has been confirmed as Scott Derrickson via his Twitter account.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Josh Brolin will be playing the role of Thanos in GotG. His part in the movie might be minimal, as there will be other antagonists in the film. Thanos will play more of a puppet master role. Read the rest of this entry »

The trailer for the new Planet of the Apes movie has come out and it looks like a war is brewing.
The movie comes out on July 11th.
After 9 seasons, we finally get to the end of Ted Moseby’s journey to find the right woman. After all the buildup from seasons 1-8, we get to meet the mother of Ted’s 2 patient kids.
(SPOILERS COMMENCING NOW)
So Ted ends up with Robin after all! Which upset a lot of people. Robin?! After being introduced to the mother (Cristin Mioli) and having her character develop throughout the season 9, we find out in the finale that she dies an early death due to some kind of unstated sickness. The newest trailer for Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past is here and it is packed with mutants. Days of Future Past will bring back some of our old favorites such as Storm, Kitty, and Old Professor X. The movie comes out May 23rd.

Last night, in lieu of of a new Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD episode, ABC premiered ‘Marvel’s Assembling a Universe.’ It was a concise collection of interviews and clips, detailing the steps and the thought processes on how the Marvel movie franchise became the giant success it is today. It tells the great story of how Marvel Studios utilized what they had in their repertoire of heroes and made captivating movie after captivating movie to build the foundation that would become The Avengers. It was not only a collaboration of intellectual property, but also represents the teamwork of many of the talented cast that worked on the previous movies. Marvel’s success today is so revered, they no longer have to worry about having the reputation or the capital to have a strong cast. Everyone wants to be a part of Marvel.

Sony has been cranking up the marketing for TASM recently and have released their final trailer before the movie opens up in the US on May 2nd. Here it is..
What do you think? The thing that bothers me most is Harry’s emo-style haircut, I just want to chop those darn bangs off, aside from that everything looks AWESOME. The only other concern is that with all the other trailers, the movie risks revealing too much before audiences can watch the movie, leaving little to the imagination of fanboys every where. Let’s hope that the movie can live up to the hype and give us a sneak peek into the inevitable future of TASM 3 and 4.
